Thales and IDC conducted a global survey of IT data security executives to uncover the impact of digital transformation on the data threat environment. As part of the Encrypt Everything campaign, Thales asked us to help with the launch and style of the nine Data Threat Reports (DTR), starting with the Global DTR. Our challenge was to visualise the survey findings in a set of clear and engaging reports.
Visualisation of the reports included setting design direction, implementing an infographic style, selecting appropriate imagery and maintaining consistency. Across the nine reports, it was important to consider the differentiation of details such as colours, icons, quotes and imagery according to region, industry and country.
The reports are being used for a number of initiatives, from generating leads to providing a topic of conversation with prospective customers. The sales and marketing activities are supported with the reports helping to engage audiences.
